DR. TAYLOR WON'T MAKE HOUSE CALLS [Maureen] Taylor, daughter of Phyllis Kitson & a [great] great great great granddaughter of Ralph & Melinda Hyde Dunham, received her doctorate in education from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Mich. on Dec. 16, 1978. Dr. Taylor has a B.A. from the University of Michigan & her master's degree from Mich. State University. She has been a member of the English dept. at Kalamazoo Valley Comm. College since it opened in

| 1968. While her son Greg (11) understands such things, Nick (7) is a bit disappointed that his mother's new degree won't enable her to heal the sick. Dr. Taylor's proud mother took this picture on the way to the ceremony, & now hopes that, when xeroxed, it won't look as if Maureen has a very large nose. She hasn't. She has a small nose & a big tassel on her cap. | |

Sad experience has taught the DD staff that color photos do not reproduce well on the copier, but still we want to give you some idea of one of our favorites among her oil paintings--the white cat. |
