COLLAGE IDENTIFICTIONS |
It [was] through one of those happy accidents that Phyllis Kitson, genea1ogy freak, happened to locate the family Bible of Ralph & Melinda Hyde Dunham. From the Greeley, Colo. obituary of Edwin L. Dunham (DD, May '77) she had learned that Edwin’s son, Charles Scott Dunham, a dentist,
pre-deceased his father, & that the son’s widow had lived in Crystal Springs, Mo. An inquiry to the library there eventually netted a letter from a Mrs. White, of Festus, Mo., who is a descendant of Charles S. Dunham’s widow, by her 2nd husband. It developed that Mrs. White is the present owner of the Bible which had orginally belonged to Ralph and
Melinda, & later on she sent xerox copies of the pages of family information that it contains. The copies are not 100% [legible], but here they are:

INFORMATION NEEDED!!!
Two of Ralph & Melinda’s daughters--Cornelia & Henrietta--married Loomises, who probably were brothers. Lucius & Cornelia B. Loomis lived in Coventry, Conn. & had two children,
Willian Hyde Loomis (b. 1839) and Malinda Loomis (b. 1841). Zenas & Henrietta also lived in Coventry, but no further information is known about them. Did anyone ever hear of any
distant cousins named LOOMIS?
Could someone send DD the address for Dorothy Dunham Curtis?
