OLD PICTURES GREAT; SO ARE NEW
MLDunham

While a family newsletter thrives on such things as old pictures and old letters (we plan to print quite a number of these), one of the most interesting things about a family itself is its ongoingness. If our ancestors had had no descendants they wouldn’t be ancestors, would they? We may not be illustrious (yet!), but we are a part of the reason that they struggled to achieve and to
improve, all in their own ways, the quality of life. We all
count, and we all belong in the pages of the DUNHAM DISPATCH.

So pleae don’t wait until you have been able to find that old picture of your great great aunt [to] send in our OWN picture.

MIRIAM LEAH DUNHAM (1874-1940), daughter of SamUel & granddaughter of Francis S. Duhham, photographed in Evanston, ca, 1880. Miriam, later Mrs. Luther Ferriss, was the grandmother of the editor of the Dispatch.
